In March 2018, the industry released the Canadian Creative Industries Code of Conduct. FilmOntario was proud to sign on to this Code in April, 2018.
As part of our obligations under the Code, we have developed Workplace Violence and Harassment Policies and Programs to ensure that the FilmOntario workplace is free from violence, bullying and harassment. These policies and programs also apply to all events hosted by FilmOntario.
We encourage all of our members, if you haven’t done so already, to develop your own workplace policies. The Ministry of Labour website has many resources available to assist you in doing this. It is only by working together that we can ensure that all of our workplaces are welcoming to everybody.
