FilmOntario supports the recent calls by ACTRA Toronto for all players in the screen-based industries to join in a discussion about how best to address harassment, bullying and discrimination in the workplace. We commend the steps that individual organizations have taken to date to ensure safe, harassment-free workplaces. Addressing these issues is everyone’s responsibility, and it is time to come together to identify and address gaps in policies, procedures and practices. We are stronger as an industry when we all work together and it is only by working together that we will be able to ensure our workplaces are welcoming to everybody.
